Brittany Deskins’ greatest asset as a litigator is her sense of perspective. Having practiced on both the sides of plaintiffs and defendants throughout her career, she is able to see every matter from a diverse set of viewpoints, which allows her to craft the best strategy to work toward her clients’ success. Her ability to appreciate the full picture of any issue means that she can strike the careful balance between the client’s needs and the facts of the situation.

Brittany is a litigator in Lexington, Kentucky, whose practice focuses on business litigation, employment law, insurance matters, and complex personal injury cases, but her experience is broader, including auto litigation and mass torts along with other litigation matters such as medical malpractice, products liability, and wrongful death. Having grown up managing a variety of sicknesses and medical issues, Brittany is well-practiced in talking to the experts in a situation—and getting answers. She prioritizes developing strong relationships with all her clients so she can best understand the issues and goals pertinent to their case. Regardless of the issue at hand, Brittany prides herself on being a passionate advocate for her clients’ interests by listening closely to their concerns, responding in a timely manner, and searching for creative solutions.

Prior to joining McBrayer, Brittany practiced for nearly a decade at a respected personal injury firm. During that time, she represented people injured by the negligence of others through auto accidents, premise liability matters, medical malpractice, and product liability matters. Her tenure there allowed her to gain experience as a trial lawyer, and she successfully litigated a multitude of cases to successful results, including several million dollar settlements. This experience gave Brittany invaluable knowledge, hands-on experience, and tools that have served her and her clients well in other areas of litigation. Representing injured people for so many years allowed her to develop deep respect for her clients and the heart to advocate for them. Brittany carries over that same respect, heart, and work ethic to advocate for all of her clients in every area of law that she practices.
