Overview

When speaking with Rob Maclin about his law practice, one word comes up again and again: “Dedication.” As a litigator, Rob’s practice revolves around helping clients who need someone to go to bat for them – someone knowledgeable and experienced, with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills. Most of all, they need an attorney who is dedicated—dedicated to the law, dedicated to the client, and dedicated to working hard in the pursuit of the best possible outcome. Rob Maclin is that attorney, and he has been throughout his over 30 years of practicing law.

Though Rob has served as a litigator in myriad areas, his practice focuses primarily on insurance litigation and defense; commercial and banking matters, transactions, and litigation; construction law; agricultural law; equine litigation and transactions; and trust and estate litigation. He regularly appears in state and federal courts on behalf of his clients and has brought numerous cases to favorable verdicts and judgments.  His long list of notable cases demonstrates his ability to succeed in even the most challenging matters.

Rob tries cases before judges, juries, and arbitrators, and has argued/appeared before state courts such as the Kentucky Court of Appeals and the Kentucky Supreme Court, the Montana Supreme Court and the state courts of Texas, in addition to numerous federal district and appellate courts. His broad range of legal experience and strong knowledge of legal systems in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and other states, including Texas where he is also licensed, allows Rob to assist his clients wherever they may conduct their business.

Rob knows that in the realm of litigation, clients count on having an attorney who is devoted to keeping them up to date and actively involved with their legal matters, a lesson instilled in him by our firm’s founding member, Terry McBrayer. This is another form of dedication Rob possesses—his commitment to building and maintaining lasting relationships with clients, founded on trust and communication.

In addition to his law practice, Rob is a member of the Thoroughbred Owners & Breeders Association and the United States Polo Association.
